If you’ve been keeping up with Steam this week, they have a lot of demos to check out in their Steam Next Fest event. And there are actually quite a few games about love, sex, and romance in this demo-centric festival.

I’m working on wrapping up a big interview for next week, so I’ve actually been far too busy to play any games. 😂

Writing Wrap-Up 📖

• Publisher Shady Corner Games has two demos for adult games up on Steam. They are The Ruins of Vagastia, a dungeon crawler, and Shred & Tear: Explosive Kajun, an action platformer.

• Yuri University is out now on Itch.io. Never interested in boys when growing up, your college roommates help you figure out you like girls better anyway…

• Sweet & Spicy reviews the upcoming otome romance Band Camp Boyfriend. Find love while trying to survive band camp!

• Lewd Life with my Doggy Wife was released on Steam. After you were reincarnated, you thought your life of misery would improve, but luckily a beautiful woman with dog ears and a tail is here to spoil you.

• The free clicker game Maid Idle was released on Itch.io. Impress and get to know your hard-working maid employees as the new owner of a local tavern.

• Sex simulator HoneySelect2 Libido DX is out now on Steam. Sorry to disappoint all you visual novel makers, but it still does not come with a license to use Illusion’s art in your game.

• Futanari fantasy visual novel Tarragh’s Quest is available on Itch.io. On the Isle of Babe and Blade, an orc warrior is looking for the origin of The Great Murk, which caused everyone on the island to grow a penis.

• Arimia Dev has a great article about marketing visual novels on TikTok. Being an Old myself, this was a great intro to the platform!
